What Is "ROIL"?

Our Reaching Out In Love program started in 2004 with the inspiration of one member who saw the need to reach out to our neighborhood children with open arms. Since that time Fairview has offered tutoring, crafts, games, Christian education and fun outings for over a hundred children. Each Wednesday evening during the school year we provide SOL tutoring and related activities for the children, followed by supper for all participants and their families. We work closely with the area's elementary school staff to identify and contact the children and their parents for participation. The lives of the children, their families, and the volunteers from Fairview have all been touched greatly by the success of this program.

Presently, we have expanded and modified ROIL to now be the Community Outreach Program.

This program is similar in fomat to ROIL with homework help and tutoring, but offers more opportunites for outside activities and also allows more churches to participate in local mission by outreaching to the Fairview site with help with meals each week and by also providing tutors.

Food Pantry is a local mission work that Fairview is involved in on a monthly basis.
