Confirmation Class News

The Fairview UMC’s Confirmation class will begin on Sunday, February 10th at 12:30 p.m.

The class will meet after worship each Sunday, each lunch together and conclude at 2:30 p.m.

Pastor Cheryl and Tranacia will lead the confirmation class and during the next few months.  The class will be involved in service projects within the community, learn what the United Methodist Church believes, and deepen their faith and understanding of how to be Christ’s witness.

If you have any questions, you can contact wither Pastor Cheryl or Tranacia at the church office.

Come and enjoy a fun evening of fellowship, song, games and summer fun on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

This is a great time to just stop by the church and get to know folks.

Pitstop is for everyone at the church!

June 18th, July 16th, August 20th from 5:30—7:00 p.m.

Reach Out Sunday on July 13th—This will be an outreach/evangelism after church event to walk and talk Fairview UMC and Family Vacation Bible School to the surrounding community of Fairview UMC.  Lunch will be provided afterwards. 

Look for a sign up sheet in the Narthex towards the end of June so we can plan for lunch that afternoon!

June 1st—All children and youth are encourage to go to Thunder Valley right after church for some fun and fellowship. 

Youth—June 1st ~ FUMC youth group will meet at 5:30 p.m. for summer planning. 

Sunday, July 6th at 5 p.m. families are encouraged to come out and have some cookout fun at Fairview to celebrate the weekend.  This event is in combination with the Family Ministries event.

Family VBS—July 28th thru August 1   

 “Beach Party” Fun for every age.  All ages will have an opportunity to participate.

August - VBS Celebration Sunday on Sunday,      August 3rd.  The children and youth will have a part in worship for the celebration of Beach Party !
